Lumiere Dermatology introduces Deluxe 3D Microblading

Arched, straight or bold, eyebrows are unarguably the most important feature on a face. If you are dissatisfied with them, there are various ways in which you can upgrade them and make them look better. This includes tattooing, applying brow, gel, or pencils. But the latest among all the innovations is Deluxe 3D Microblading. Unlike other methods, microblading involves applying strokes on hair and embedding a layer of hair on superficial layer of skin that looks like real hair.

The Deluxe 3D Microblading is technically a cosmetic tattoo because pigment is injected into the skin, but the amount of pigment going into the superficial layers of skin is comparatively smaller so that a softer and feathered finish is obtained with no inclination to tint orange or green over time, as with the more traditional tattooing techniques. During this process, a special microblading pen is used to draw individual strokes one by one. It is an extremely meticulous process which takes two hours to complete. Since, the results of this technique last for at least three years, our doctors pay personalised attention to detail.  In the first hour, we are drawing the shape with removable pencil. It is the longest and most important step. During this step, the desired shape is chosen for clients. It is advisable that people avoid getting this treatment done from places wherein the process takes only an hour.  It is an extensive process and if done in an hour, may cause harm to the client.

There is no downtime involved in this technique. Your new set of brows will be ready for a selfie few minutes after the process. However, one should follow-up two or three times after the first appointment. Unlike other forms of eyebrow extensions, you don’t have to worry about Microblading since it is done in feather strokes and lasts for about 1 to 3 years. After healing, you can rub them and enjoy swimming. No special care is required, except for a brief touch-up once a year. Microblading is perfect for those who want to fully reconstruct, define, and cover gaps or fill-in over plucked brows. It is also great for those who just want to add a slight arch in their eyebrow line, and the results are a natural, undetectable fringe.

Hence, get ready to give a dreamy shape to your eyebrows through Deluxe 3D Microblading.

14th December 2016 : CNBC-TV18, India’s first business channel is championing an important cause of education for underprivileged children in India. Known for its insightful analysis, inclusiveness and authenticity, CNBC-TV18 is bringing in yet another revolution by taking up this cause in association with a Mumbai based NGO Angel Xpress Foundation. The channel is lending support to a month-long campaign, which intends to provide underprivileged children with quality education as a part of their CSR initiatives, by helping them raise funds and influence more people to volunteer to give their time to teach these kids. The initiative, being termed as ‘Ummeed ka Diya’, will be running for over a month till December.

As an entity that believes in proactively building meaningful awareness and spreading positivity through its actions, CNBC-TV18 has joined hands with Angel Xpress Foundation, an NGO that provides educational support to underprivileged kids through regular access to educated adults. The channel is encouraging its viewers to partake in this campaign by either volunteering their time for 2-3 hours at the NGO’s free tuition classes or by donating a nominal sum of only Rs. 23 a day. The free tuition classes give the underprivileged children an opportunity to understand their respective syllabi better, and face challenges with confidence. This also gives citizens an opportunity to do their bit in community building and being agents of change.
CNBC-TV18 is requesting viewers to do their bit so that children can light up their lives this festive season through 'Ummeed ka Diya', translating to lamp of hope. Commenting on the campaign Priyanka Tiku-Tripathi, VP - Marketing, CNBC-TV18 says, ‘Today's children will make up tomorrow's society and to attain sustainable growth, it is important to equip them with good education. Unfortunately, a large segment of our society still can't afford to have that.#UmmeedkaDiya is our effort to provide a genuine platform to our viewers to give back to the society and do their bit in empowering a child's life.

Education is considered a birthright in our country and despite innumerable policies in place; we are not maximizing our potential when it comes to providing basic learning platforms for a large section of society. Through this collaboration, CNBC-TV18 and Angel Xpress Foundation can create a vast impact since the channel reaches out to lakhs of viewers from all walks of life. The ongoing campaign will continue till the month of December.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui confirmed to play the lead Sultana Daku in British production

London-based Beautiful Bay Entertainment production house has roped in Nawazuddin Siddiqui for its upcoming project ‘The Confession of Sultana Daku’. The British production is an adaptation of the book written by Sujit Saraf, set in pre-Independence India, on the life of the notorious UP dacoit legend Sultana. The film is to be directed by Heeraz Marfatia, who has assisted filmmakers such as Shekhar Kapur and the Oscar-winning Roland Joffe.

Interestingly, one of Sultana Daku's stomping grounds was Muzaffarnagar, where Nawazuddin Siddiqui spent his growing up years. “Nawaz has lived and dreamed the stories of Sultana Daku since he was a child. In a way, he has been preparing to play this character his entire life without even knowing it,” says director Heeraz Marfatia.

Nawazuddin is equally excited about portraying the historic character of Sultana Daku in this British Production. The actor shares, “Kids today have super heroes they look up to and Sultana was a super hero to me. On dark winter nights when my family would be snug under a warm razai, with candle being the only source of light and the threat of modern dacoits in my village, Sultana would come to life in my father's stories as the real Daku. Unlike these criminals who terrorised us, Sultana always took a stand.”

The film is written by Shubra Swarup, who has worked with industry aces like Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Mansoor Khan and Shekhar Kapur. Produced by Colin Burrows and Michael Ward, ‘The Confession of Sultana Daku’ will be shot extensively in real locations, in Sultana's actual milieu.

PBL-2's new format will test players, thrill fans, say Marin and Sindhu

Rio Olympic gold medalist  Carolina Marin set the stage for an explosive start to the Premier Badminton League starting next month by saying that she is looking forward to the clash with Rio silver medallist PV Sindhu.

"The final at Rio was a tight contest. Sindhu is a good attacking player. I look forward to playing her again. I am sure it will be interesting," Marin said through a video link during a press conference here on Friday to launch the bigger and grander edition of the League.

The Spanish superstar who had been picked up by Hyderabad Hunters for a phenomenal Rs 61.5 lakh is expected to face off with arguably India's best player currently who will be representing Chennai Smashers in the opening round of PBL-2.

“It’s a pleasure to be associated with the PBL. It’s a very exciting tournament and we have a very strong team in the Hunters.  I believe we can go all the way and win the tournament, and surely," she said. "I am looking forward to my stay in Hyderabad. I hear that fans in india turn up in huge numbers. I am excited about the event that awaits me," she added.

Sindhu brought a smile to Marin's face by not only welcoming her to India, but also to her home to enjoy Hyderabad's most famous dish: the biryani. "I am sure she will enjoy her stint in India. I would like her to come home to relish home-made biryani," she said that only underlined the healthy rivalry that is brewing between them.

Marin, who is seen as a complete player, believes that the format of the League as also each match is (best of three games with each game fought over just 11 points) going to add to the overall excitement. “It is going to be a very tough format. As each game is only for 11 points, we will have to focus on each point. And, this will surely change everyone’s strategies and the way they approach the game,” Marin explained.

India's top players led by Sindhu, B. Sumeeth Reddy  (Chennai Smashers), Kidambi Srikanth (Awadhe Warriors), Syril Verma (Delhi Acers) Sai Praneeth and Sameer Verma (Hyderabad Hunters), Saurabh  Verma (Bengaluru Blasters) along with pool of junior players who were present at the press conference also pointed that the format is going to add to the thrill factor.

“The shorter format of the game will mean that you can’t give away leads of four or five points," Sindhu said. "It will be very difficult to come back into a game then," she added.

Kidambi Srikanth, India’s highest ranked player and the most expensive Indian for PBL 2 concurred. “I’ve never played in this format and it surely is going to be challenging. But, I’m mentally and physically prepared to take my game to the next level,” he said.

Prasad Mangipudi, the Managing Director of SportzLive and the man behind the League is understandably excited about the innovations. “I’m sure that this format will make it more exciting for the spectators as the games will be more intense and will be played at a much higher speed.”

The two-week long sporting extravaganza from January 1-14 will be held across six cities, with Hyderabad hosting the first set of matches and New Delhi the finals. All the top players from India have been picked up by the teams, with as much as Rs 50 lakh being paid for some of them.

The Delhi Acers are owned by Infinite Computer Solutions while the Chennai Smashers and the Hyderabad Hunters are owned by Wone Pvt. Ltd and Agile Security Force Pvt. Ltd. Awadh Warriors, which has been in the League since its inception, is owned by Sahara Adventure Sports Limited. While the Mumbai Rockets are owned by Medhavi Sports Pvt. Ltd the Bengaluru team is owned by the consortium that has invested in Kerala Blasters, an India Super League team.
